OUR STORY
Attorney Francisco Rodriguez grew up in the City of San Francisco and also attended Redwood High School in Marin County. His knowledge of the County and all of its beauty and troubles are well understood.
Attorney Rodriguez attended California State University, at Chico, where he began his legal career at the Chico Legal Center by assisting low-income individuals with evictions. After graduating, Attorney Rodriguez returned to San Francisco and attended New College of California, the oldest public interest school in the Country. While attending law school Marin Criminal Attorney Francisco Rodriguez interned at the San Francisco Public Defenders Office, the First District Appellate Project, and several other legal offices that helped him carve his path. Before being licensed he also worked with the State Public Defenders Office where he worked on several death penalty cases in the habeas stage. After working there, he was hired, before being licensed by the Alameda County Public Defenders Office, where he assisted Attorneys with various stages of criminal cases. After Alameda Attorney Rodriguez went on to do trial work for the Santa Cruz Public Defenders office as a Deputy Public Defender. Attorney Rodriguez eventually left the Santa Cruz Public Defenders Office to open up his own private practice where he continues to thrive in his ability to assist people of all types with their legal needs.
In private practice, Marin Criminal Attorney Francisco Rodriguez has handled well over 74 jury trials to verdict. He has conducted well over 400 trials in total, handled 50 or more appeals and writs as well as civil trials and countless administrative hearings related to professional licenses and driver’s licenses. Many other Attorneys who do not do trial work refer cases to Marin DUI Attorney Rodriguez to handle their client’s trials. Many of these cases are also refer to us because they are simply not easy and we have a reputation for winning tough cases.
Our motto is simple, we work hard to get the job done. We understand that the most important part of any case is the Client. We take apart every case and reconstruct it in a manner that highlights the reasons why our client should win his legal matter. We understand that communication is a lawyer’s best asset. We know how to talk to Judges, Prosecutors, and Juries. We are nice to witnesses when needed but also know when it must be handled differently if required. More importantly, we know how to adjust in the middle of trial and know when to stay on course.
